Also I have been playing guitar for 10 years and have played many concerts and taught at a few summer camps
Been on numerous mission trips and have done tons of community service with the boy scouts
Going to Texas A&M and UT Austin summer programs this summer
Boy Scout (Life Scout)
Worked in a warehouse last summer full time

Oh yeah i forgot the school list!
Emory (Oxford College EA)
USC
Notre Dame
JHU
Carnegie Mellon
Wake Forest

your class rank is somewhat low for JHU, Notre Dame, Carnegie Mellon unless your an athlete of some kind. If you get it into top 10% you have a pretty good shot at everyone on your list. Other than that everything looks great…SAT’s EC’s etc.

Emory (Oxford College EA) - 50%
USC - 30%
Notre Dame - 10%
JHU - 20%
Carnegie Mellon - 40%
Wake Forest - 60%

your unweighted is pretty low but your weighted and SAT are good… you will probably get into one of the above besides WF

Great classes and good SAT. Your rank is pretty high for your low GPA, so I would assume that you go to a really good school as well. Can you get some more EC’s and leadership positions??

Emory- low reach
USC- high match
Notre Dame- low reach
JHU- high match
Carnegie Mellon- high match
Wake Forest- match

Ok those who put links were chanced back! Thanks everyone!

Oh yeah its the second or third most competitive public school in houston.

USC tends to admit a majority of Legacies (The children of alumni), which is kind of a downer.

But I definitely recommend applying to JHU, I know many people who go there because I live in Maryland, I could always get more information from them about admissions if you would like! Try to raise that GPA!

The other schools I don’t know very much about, so I couldnt help you out much.
Good luck to you and your future!
Chance back please!
