Im looking to major in Mathematics, specifically in Applied Math or Operations Research If you wanna read my common app essay just sat so!!

Bump anyone wanna chance meee? Oh and im middle eastern if that helps

Everything looks good but you need to get the unweighted GPA way up.

I agree with blakebengals. Your GPA seems to be on the low side for your schools, but the rest of your credentials are good.

Reaches:
Washington University in St. Louis, Rice, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Notre Dame

Matches:
Colgate, NYU, Tufts (I think), Wake Forest

Safeties:
Oxford of Emory, Trinity College (I do not know about this school)

Sweet thanks guys! I keep hearing that Emory is one of my low matches, and its one of my top choices so thats exciting!

Anyone wanna chance moi?

Please chaaaance me :)

Haha thats what i keep hearing. But for Early Decision i really cant…is it really gonna be the factor that keeps me from these colleges? My rank is probably like 15% at lowest…

Chaaaance me pleeeaaase :)

bump anyone wanna chance me?

Aww will someone please chance me WITH that GPA? I cant really change it before ED/EA…

So in Houston + IB program = Lamar or Bellaire

Your test scores are superb
Your gpa would shows laziness compared with your tests though
ECs are fine

Rice - Probably not
Washington University in St Louis - Probably not
Emory (Oxford College, Early Action) - Maybe
Cornell (Early Decision) - Probably not
Colgate - Maybe
NYU - Maybe
Wake Forest - Probably in
Trinity College - Probably in
Tufts - Maybe
Notre Dame (Early Action)- Probably not

But my opinion doesn’t matter because like you I’m also just a senior

Your GPA really brings down your chances. However if you’ve already had a schedule half as hard as that of your senior year I don’t think colleges will assume you’re a “smart slacker” and that will help.

Rice - Low Reach (if your GPA was higher I would call this a shoo-in)
Washington University in St Louis - Reach
Emory (Oxford College, Early Action) - Low Match
Cornell (Early Decision) - High Reach
Colgate - Low Reach
NYU - Low Reach/High Match
Wake Forest - High Match
Trinity College - In
Tufts - Reach
Notre Dame (Early Action)- Reach
