What are my chances of getting into UW Madison (reach/match/safety)? What should I improve? Please let me know!! Thanks!
In my opinion, you are a very strong applicant and should not have a problem being accepted to your first choice college. However, if you are not accepted there are many other great schools that will easily accept you.
You look like a match to me!
I have many, many friends at UW-Madison with similar qualifications. Your GPA might be a little low, but I think you can make up for that with great essays. I’d say you’re a match! Good luck
I’d say a Mid to High Match. Good luck!
Im not familiar with UW-Madison, sorry, so I cant tell you about UW-Madison specifically, but overall just looking at your stats: Your course rigor might be a concern, because while taking ap courses looks great, it doesnt look as good when you have a bunch of “fluff” in between them; that fluff being free periods, gym, other electives, etc. I’m not sure about your particular position or the way your school works, but that will stand out negatively without further explanation. Your ACT is great and your ECs are very lackluster. URM status will help.
I’m pretty familiar with UW-Madison, did a lot of research for that school before. You have pretty good work experience and ACT score. Probably EC is not too stand out?
However, I would consider it as a match.
Chance me back please, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1754743-duke-unc-chapel-hill-rd-so-frustrated-now-i-will-chance-back.html#latest
Definitely looks like a match. Hope you get in to your top choice!
