<p>I really don't think you need to worry :) you have similar SATs/ ecs to me AND you have the fact that both of your parents went, which is incredible. I definitely think you will get in.</p>

<p>Smiles: They don't want to take too many people from one geographic location. Texas, Mass., and New York are all over-represented in the student body. Other states, especially Alaska, sometimes don't even send one person.</p>
<p>I was talking to my brother at MIT the other day, and it turns out they don't have one single person from Alaska in his class. It's the only state NOT represented there. Most interesting.</p>
<p>how much higher is the ED admittance rate than the RD? I <3 Wash U, (didn't apply early because my parents weren't into binding me to a school in a different time zone) but now I'm nervous I've ruined my chances. Plus, I think at least four kids from my school applied ED and are definitely going to get in, so is that going to make it significantly more competitive? Anyway, good luck to everyone who applied ED.. wash u is fabulous.</p>
