Chances at William & Mary?

Hey everyone, I applied to W&M early decision, and I was hoping that you might be able to give me an idea of what my chances are. Here're my stats:

skipped junior year; will graduate from an extremely!!!! competitive HS with an advanced diploma in 3 years

live in richmond, so it'll be in-state
GPA (uw): 3.93 (w): 4.27
Class Rank: 66/488 (approx. top 13%)
SAT: 690 (W) 600 (M) 670 (CR), not great, I know...
Senior year schedule: AP English 12; Physics; Advanced Algebra/Trig; Spanish IV Honors; Journalism; Government; VA & US History
Other years: Taken hard courses and 2 honors classes per year

Wrote an excellent essay and optional submission and will get killer reccomendations

EC's:
Spanish Club (3 years): Secretary in 10th grade, Co-president in 12th
Peer Helpers (2 years): Team Leader in 12th
Girl Scouts (since kindergarden): Earned Silver Award, which is what I wrote my essay about
Newspaper: News Editor
Write a monthly column for local paper
Art Club (2 years)
Nominated for College Scholars program by my guidance counselor
Volunteered at local library (3 years)
Quill and Scroll Honor Society
Award for best foreign language student in my grade
SCA Homeroom Representative
High PSAT Award (awarded this two times)

I know that my chances aren't great, but maybe they're sort of good?..ish? Anyway, thanks for letting me know! ^_^

Oh and one more thing...since I skipped, it would not have been possible for me to take calculus. In addition, skipping a year also made it so I could have taken, at a maximum, 3 AP classes (English, Government, and VA&US History), so it's not like I could have done 6 but only chose to do one. I have also only gotten one B in my high school career (as a freshman) if that means anything. Thanks again!!!

I would be very surprised if you are not accepted ED to William and Mary. Please post and let us know how it goes for you. My opinion is not based on any one thing about your stats, but rather everything combined. This is a very hard and stressful time, I'm sure. I think you are going to be fine. Good Luck! William and Mary is such an awesome school. You are going to love it.

Thanks for responding, that makes me feel better. ^_^ Hopefully they'll send the letters out early like they have in previous years so the wait won't be as long!

Bump!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I think you have a great chance, everything is great except maybe the SAT score, but you have the instate, EC's and grades to make up for that.

Why did you skip the grade? Why didn't you just wait a year so class rank and SAT's would be better?

Just wondering...

I don't really have one single reason, I just felt that I was ready for college and since I took 4 high school classes in middle school and an english class over the summer I had enough credits. As for class rank, my old class is a bit more competitive than my current class, so that would have done down some had I not skippped.

anyone else have thoughts?

Interesting that one poster cited her SAT scores as maybe the "weakest link", Funny becaue I zeroed in on her class rank and her not taking AP Calc by Senior year. I still feel that this applicant will be accepted and I hope she posts and let's us know how things went for her.
