I know my SATIIs are fairly low and my GPA isn't incredible (but still decent)... what do you think?

Thanks in advance!! :-D

Williams: Super Reach
Cornell: Reach
Midd: Match/ Reach
Colby/ Bowdoin: match

May I just say that you have EXCELLENT taste in schools. That said, Colby is a match. Bowdoin might be a reach but doable. Midd, Cornell (arts and sciences?) and Williams are your reaches. Good luck, I have a feeling you'll like where you end up.

thanks guys, any other ideas? Do you think my SAT IIs will really (as in "a lot", not as in "actually") hinder my acceptance to Williams or Cornell?

Christmas Caroling?

I think the SAT 2's will not help, no one can tell you how much. Of course you'll need some safeties. 4 out of your 5 schools could be called reaches or at least match/reach, Colby would be more of a match imo.

I too like your taste in schools. They are all reaches for a New Yorker, I am afraid. So much competition from your neck of the woods for a spot in those colleges. Colby is a match, if you have shown lots of interest to them. It really comes down more to the history your school has in sending kids to these colleges. Your course load, and school difficulty will make a big difference. I have seen kids with your stats get into all of these schools from NY, but I have also seen many with higher numbers get turned down. Good luck to you---it won't be long. Let us know how you do.

Yes, please let us know what happens. Not much longer to wait, good luck!

Thanks, a ton for taking your time to help me out!! I'll be sure to keep you updated :-).

do the bumpty bump :-P

well, I promised I'd keep you updated...

Accepted at the University of Vermont Honors College, SUNY Geneseo College, and Colby College (attending)

:-), very happy with my decision... thanks guys, and gals, for all your support! :-)
