chances at yale, upenn, brown

bump...
anyone?

Yale takes about 40% of legacy applicants and your stats make you qualified, so I'd put your cchances there at 50/50. Brown and Upenn might be pulled off with amazing recs and essays which could help them overlook weak ECs.

Make sure you have some safeties because none of these might well happen.

oh i have safeties... im not that naive :)

i would say if you pull off fantastic essays then you got all it takes.

bump.
more thoughts, please!

I'm no admissions officer, but I think you appear to have a very legitimate chance. You're a legacy, you have awesome SATs and grades, good EC's...Everyone seems to think you have "weak" EC's. Were you supposed to save the world in your free time too? Honestly, since when did getting into college require every spare second of your life. I think you have a shot...unless of course Superman is applying too, then I don't know...

haha thanks ydgunz.. i appreciate the humor amid all this intensity

bump.. help please
