Really impressive activities. I feel like Brown and Dartmouth are high reaches (They want reeeeally high test scores that I have no idea how some people manage to get). I think you’ll get into USC. I’m pretty new to this site so I’m sorry if I can;t give you super thorough advice

15 applications, wow! If you have some favorites I think you can whittle down that number and save yourself some extra essay writing. I would say you stand a great chance at all the schools that are showing interest from athletic coaches. They have pull with even underperforming student athletes, of which you clearly are not! You are strong for most of the others, I really would find my favorite half dozen and enjoy your holiday season! Best of luck to you.

USC-Low Reach

I think that you have a shot at the ivies you listed… once you get to that high level, the tangible evidence (gpa and test score) is kind of meaningless. Think about it- they are not going to say you have a 32 and she has a 34 so the 34 is the obvious pick. That’s never going to happen. I think your activities and essays will be the game changers, with all of your very strong activities. Good luck!
If you need some hope, just look at the average test scores for Brown, Dartmouth, and Georgetown. If you look on college board, you are a competitive applicant with your score. Middle 50% act for Brown (from college board) is 30-34. You clearly fall in that.

I think that Dartmouth and Brown would be reaches. However, your activities and scores are really strong, so I feel like you’d stand a good chance of getting into those types of schools. But I feel like you’d definitely get a lot of scholarship money to the less selective schools you listed, i.e. Bucknell, Washington and Lee if you were willing to go there instead. Like you said, you already received an offer for a 30,000 dollar scholarship to Tulane for the Honors Program. Good luck

Are you even real? Kind of intimidating if you ask me. I felt so insignificant after looking at your ECA’s. I am pretty sure that you will get in. Best of luck (I know you won’t be needing it)

You have a very good shot at Bucknell, Fordham, Gettysburg, Syracuse, Trinity, Richmond, Villanova, and Washington and Lee. I wouldn’t stress about those too much :). Hopkins is definitely in reach considering you probably have the athletic coaches support. You definitely fit the profile for USC and Notre Dame. Georgetown, Dartmouth, and Brown are high reaches, but they are high reaches for everyone. Like others have said, your activities are very strong (the only thing that might be missing is activities related to business/economics, but that is by no means a deal-breaker) and you do have very good scores and grades. That combined with fantastic recommendations and essays might set you over the edge. For those schools, you have a better shot than most. Even if you aren’t accepted to the Ivies, you have applied to other wonderful schools that will beg you to come to them.
Did you apply to any of these schools (like Notre Dame, Georgetown, or some of the low-reaches) EA? That would help your chances significantly, even if you were deferred the first time around. Hope this helps!

@theaussie and to OP: She does seem to be quite a fit for Notre Dame, but since she’s applying to Mendoza (they won’t care about subject tests), Georgetown and Notre Dame business schools might be neck to neck, or a bit higher. Mendoza only has ~600 spots out of ~3600 students of the entire freshman class, and more than half of the 600 has already been filled up during REA. So that’s already less than a 16% chance to be admitted into Mendoza for the average applicant. Plus, she’s applying with a 32 ACT while the average for ND is 32-34, and assuming that Mendoza’s has a higher average.

Mendoza will be a reach. But I’d be surprised if you aren’t accepted to ND.
