Chances? (Current High School Junior)

Hi, I'm currently a Junior in high school and am wondering what my chances are for getting into the University of Washington for Fall 2012.

SAT Score: (Not taken yet but will take in May)
ACT Score: 29 composite
Cumulative GPA: 3.983
top 1% in class at high school

Honors/Ap/IB Classes: Honors English 1 & 2 for Freshman and Sophomore year, also Honors Algebra 1 which I took in 8th grade. (High School I went to offered very little honors classes for Freshman/Sophomore year, that is why I am taking Running Start my Junior/Senior years to have more challenging classes on my transcript)

Currently am Full Time Running Start here in Washington state which means that I attend a local community college for all my classes instead of taking classes at my high school.

Senior Class Load: Calculus 2 & 3, Spanish 1 & 2, English 102 (English Composition 2), Senior Social Studies (Not sure of exact class yet), Engineering Physics 1 & 2 (Pre-Requisite of Calculus 2 & 3 for these classes), Introduction to Legal Theory.

EC's: High School Football (9th and 10th grade), Math Club member, Engineering club member.

Volunteer Work: Approximately 100 hours of community service through a local food bank and hospital.

Work Experience: Full-Time job in California this summer.

Awards: Vice President's list at Community College for Junior & Senior year (doubt that counts...)

General Comments: Should be well written essays considering I have always excelled in my English Classes and have gotten very good feedback from English professors. Have always gotten A's in every classes except for 2 (A-)'s from Weight Training (second semester) and Freshman Science class (first semester). My sister currently attends the University of Washington as a Junior (not sure if that applies as a "legacy" or not..?) Also I am an in-state resident.

Thanks in advance for any responses I may receive!

Your in. Your pretty well rounded.

I’d say you have a great shot!

Well, you have above a 3.75, with the toughest classes you can take I am assuming, and sport with EC’s, you would be what they call “A perfect candidate”!

Hell yes. Just don’t be lazy on your writing section because you assume you’ll get in. Make them humble, too (don’t be cocky about all of your amazing achievements), and realize that how well written they are is only half of it. Meaningful and deep experiences are equally important – not necessarily in what they were but in how they affected you.

By the way, for social studies, take anthropology at your community college. I did, and it’s a pretty cool class, but that’s just me.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback! When I apply I’ll be entering as a Business major hopefully; do you think this will affect my chances to get into the school? Also, I’ve heard there is a direct admission program to Foster and was curious if anyone had any information as to how that works or if there is any special requirements to get in.
