Chances for University of Washington?

Currently a Junior, and i'm starting to get nervous about applying for UW come october! I would love it if I could get my nerves calmed and get some ideas on what I can focus on this coming year.

My schedule looks fairly weak, but many honors classes and AP classes have been cut or are only offered at cross-town schools. Afaik, UW does a fairly holistic review of your application, hopefully they see that.

What chances do I have.. What can I improve on?! This is my absolute dream school.

Thanks!

I’d say you have a pretty good chance. Your GPA is good and your EC’s are decent. It would help you a whole lot to bring up your test score. Try the ACT to see if it works better for you. If you have taken the hardest schedule possible at your school, it should not hurt you.

Thanks!

Might as well bump, wouldn’t mind some more opinions.

I think you will be perfectly fine. I am going to UW this coming fall, and I have a gpa lower than you, however a better SAT score. You could try and retake the SAT if you want to do better. Also, work HARD on your application essays. The UW really looks at those essays and wants to know more about who you are.
