Chances direct admit to kelley

I was wondering what my chances would be for direct admission to kelley as a freshman.

here are a few of my stats
GPA: 3.61 UW/ 4.62 W (Hardest courseload possible: 7 AP's by grad, all honors otherwise)
SAT: 1350/1600, 2030/2400

i hear kelley is numbers based, but my EC's are kinda weak:
4 years Cross-Country (2 yrs. varsity, captain senior yr)
3 years indoor track (2 yrs. varsity)
4 years outdoor track (3 yrs. varsity, prob. captain senior yr)
~100 hrs volunteering

Hopefully that is enough information to get a decent response. If additional information is required, just ask for it. Thanks very much for any help.

btw I'm out of state, forgot to mention that. Again, thanks for any help.

SAT looks good.
GPA looks great as well.

If this is your senior year in high school, I recommend picking up a business related after-school club. Employment at a bank as a part-time teller could help as well.

DECA is a great club IMO.

Admission is really stats-driven, so keeping that UW GPA up above 3.5 (current requirement) to 3.55 (likely requirement next year) is really the key. You already have the SAT scores needed.

P.S. Note that the requirement to be admitted to the Hutton Honors program went from a 3.6 GPA (last year) to a 3.7 GPA (this year), which is why I'm expecting the GPA requirement for direct admission to Kelley to go up soon also.

all right thanks guys, i hadn't seen those stats. But is it still up in the air even if i meet the requirements, or am i like guaranteed direct admission to kelley if i have the required gpa/sats?

Nobody is guaranteed when it comes to admissions. So yes, it is still up in the air.

The higher your stats, the better the chance. No guarantee at all.

I think either way you're going to get into IU, but you'll have to sit back and finish Option I.
