Hi. I’m an international applicant from the UK (US citizen), and I’m wondering how my chances look for ED Duke, or failing that other Ivies (not that they are any worse, but I figure my chances are lower).

Works a little different here, we have GCSE’s and predicted A-levels instead of GPA or course rigour. The order from top to bottom goes A,A,B,C etc.
GCSES: 10A, 2A
Predicted A levels: 4 A*
Extra curricular:
- Won european youth parliament nationals, represented the UK in 3 international competitions
- 8 week research internship in an immunology lab at the Francis Crick institute, did some research that’s never been done before
- As part of a team, I helped organise a model UN conference at my school for disadvantaged schools and other local schools, and chaired the special political committee
- Started a school current affairs club, organised speakers, competitions etc.
- Volunteered for 6 weeks over 2 summers in different hospitals in poor countries, helped nurses and patients etc.
-Part of school lab society, lead a small group on an experiment - Cofounded a education society at my school to try to foster discussion among pupils abt education
- Started a guitar tutoring group, was part of a guitar ensemble and have done it for ages.
-School tennis team - Photography, including selling them online.
Essays: Common app essay is strong, 8/10 or 9/10 hopefully. Supplements should be 7/10 or 8/10
Rec letters: teacher letters should be good, got an extra letter from the head of the lab I interned in. Counsellor rec will be good, nothing special.
