Won some competitions and such. and went to some international festivals. School orchestra concertmistress.</p>
<p>Im also going to apply to the music department,to double major music with science. Im pretty certain that I can get in for violin. </p>
<p>wow, u got in to all eastern and all national? omg. thats soo good, and on violin at that! Ur Ec's just in that are much more phenomenal than any northwestern applicant but ur grades and sat's blow really really hard. so, idk, maybe NW is looking for musical ppl. who knows, but ur grades are farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr below average for an asian female. but lotsof congrats on the musical accomplishments, ive been strugglin to make all state!</p>
<p>If you intend on applying to the music school at NU, then they should give you a bit of leeway with regards to your relatively low test scores, as long as you blow them away with your audition.</p>
<p>thanks. heyy veggz, I read your other posts that you used to go to the precollege program of Juilliard. Did you play violin? If so, who was your teacher? Just curious because I auditioned for precollege a few years ago. I didnt get in though. Also, I will be auditioning for Juilliard this year. Do they actually listen to ALL the repertoire?</p>
