Stats:

*From a competitive public high school in Oregon: Beaverton High School, which was also rated the best AP school in Oregon, so yeah, its a smart school. (On top of that, our graduating class is rumored to be the best class of all time, and we were ranked 704 by newsweek putting us in the top 2.5% of all high schools or something like that!! This was before our class started taking APs, so that number will probably raise even more by next year because our class is that good)

I've recalculated my GPA and I have a 3.913 UW...I'm too lazy to do weighted right now, but I might do it later.

wow are you serious? "Throw me a frickin bone here" (Austin Powers)

ED you're in good shape man, maybe try taking the SAT, you might do better on it than the ACT, and you have nothing to lose because if you mess it up you can just not send it in.

I'm going to be honest - you really need to calm down. You are completely outthinking the process. You are proudly boasting about your high school and how you might move up after your "really good" class takes AP tests. I'm all for school pride, but it just doesn't matter. Northwestern isn't going to turn a reject into an accept because your class did statistically marginally better than years previous. And going to a good public school helps you, but not indefinitely.
Your gpa moves up .05 and you think this somehow alters your chances - it doesn't.
You are not put on a mathematical equation and will get rejected because you fall unthinkably short. There's a reason the college board puts your SAT score within a scoring band. Moving your SAT 10 points one way or your gpa .05 the other way doesn't really change the general assessment of your natural and applied intelligence.
My suggestion: Take a few deep breaths. Do the best you can, but don't go crazy scratching and clawing for every little bit of the process. In the case that you don't get in, it won't be because of one too many B's or vice-versa. It's a holistic process...apreciate that.
And I also would advise against dominating this board by posting every time you go to the bathroom and asking if it might affect your chances.

The only reason I'm overplaying my class is because my counseler can talk about how if it had been any other class I would be ranked much higher, but our class is good, and thus I'm ranked lower. Also, people normally dismiss public high schools as being non-competitive, so I'm trying to emphasize how good our school is, and then show how good our class is to further emphasize that my school isnt easy.

what does that have to do with anything? I only updated it because I got my grades back. I haven't posted chances threads in sooo long until now because again, I got my grades finalized.

Since NU is 75% public hs kids, I somehow doubt your claim that people dismiss the quaity of public high schools. Regardless of validity, its the GC's job to say that every class is particularly tough. That accomplishes nothing.

Either you're an interesting person (from NU's perspective), or you're not. Whether you went to the very best public high school in Oregon is not, isn't your accomplishment - it's the accomplishment of your parents who presumably were able to afford to live in that kind of area. (I'm not familiar with Oregon, but in general, the best public high schools tend to be in wealthy suburban areas.) Don't you think that admissions counselors have sort-of figured out that the public high schools that kids go to simply reflect wherever their parents chose to live or were able to afford to live?

You're also overthinking it if you think you need to "explain" your sophomore year social studies B.

You're not going to get in if your current attitude/personality reflects in your admissions essay. Chill out a bit, like cerebral said.

Your grades look decent so focus on other things. Take the SAT.
