<p>I am going to be applying to Michigan within the week, Early Response, and I was wondering what the consensus is on my chances.</p>

Age: 17
Rising Senior at a large high school in Ohio (2,000 students total)
GPA UW: 4.0
GPA W: 4.42 (after junior year)
SAT: CR:730, Math: 690, WR: 610, a 9 essay (Will not submit to Michigan)
ACT: (Will retake this fall)
Composite: 32</p>

In an Honors Career Mentorship Program and Mentored at the Hospital under an infectious disease doctor for a semester and will shadow a surgeon next year
Church Youth Group (9-12)
I play electric guitar for our church worship on Sundays (10-12)
Electric and Acoustic Guitar (9-12) Play at local coffee shop
Went on a mission trip with church to Reynosa Mexico for 2 weeks and helped the people there.</p>

<p>Work Experience:
Work approx 25 hours a week at an internship during the summer (10-11) at an Employment Process Outsourcing Company.</p>

<p>Major:
Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or some type of typical Pre-med major.</p>

<p>OOS: around 30%, OOS: around 55%. Different people will tell you different things, but those are approximate values, give or take a few %. Overall admittiance rate is around 47%.</p>

UC 10/11th Acad Weighted: 4.04 Total 7 AP or H year long course</p>

<p>No ranking. Very rigorous public school in Southern CA. </p>

<p>SAT: 2120 (R740/M720/W660) First sitting
SAT II: Bio 750, Math 2C > 700 ( expected )</p>

<p>AP Tests: Bio 5, US Hist 4, Physics >=4 (expected ) , Calculus AB >=4 (expected )</p>

<p>Taking 4 AP's this semester : Calculus AB, Physics, Spanish, Politics.</p>

<p>EC : many volunteer hours and activities etc, but not too much achievements.</p>

<p>I hope to get in Environmental Science Major since I really love green sooo much : )</p>

<p>I have a question. When I take the ACT on the 27th, should I have my scores automatically sent to Michigan? What would happen if I score like a 29 or something this time, would they just take my highest score, 32, or would they also look at the 29? Could it hurt my chances and possibly result in not being accepted if I score low on this act and submit it?</p>
