please rate my chances at:
Duke
Cornell
UCLA
UC Berkeley
Claremont McKenna
Emory
Brown
NYU
and if you any suggestions on other schools to look at..

You look good for UCLA, Claremont (thought I suggest you don't go here), and NYU

Not too sure about the others.

Duke - Reach
Cornell - Reach
UCLA - Match
UC Berkeley - Low Reach
Claremont McKenna - Don't Know
Emory - Reach
Brown - Reach
NYU - Match

I would suggest to retake the SAT or the ACT. Try to bring the SAT over the 2100 mark. That would help for the more prestigious schools. If you take the ACT aim for a 32 or higher. Chance me as well.

Your a low reach for Emory, my bro got in ED had about those stats cept with a lower SAT(1960) and he wasn't a soccer star but he debated and was in a bunch of leadership so im not too sure if your in or not. Talk to Emory's soccer coaches, you could have a shot playing soccer there.

That's good to hear. But I am definitely no soccer star.. I mostly road the bench but the point is I was on a great team, so I can still get credit. :) But, since Emory is Division III (I think), maybe I might just try and contact them

Might look at Colgate and Holy Cross both very good schools but easier to get onto than Duke and Brown.

Your schools seem on the reach-end of the spectrum for your academic stats. I suggest retaking your SAT I's and trying to get your SAT II's over the 700 mark. Claremont McKenna may be a match/high match, but I'd narrow down your big list of reaches and find some safer schools.

I think I'm gonna take the ACT and I will be able to pull off a 32 probably. Will this better my chances?

anyone else?

bumppppppp

10 char bumppppp

bumpppppppp

Duke and Cornell seem like reaches to me. Im hoping on NYU for myself and you look good for there especially having a sport. What does your course schedule look like for senior year?

Thanks, I'm taking the full load as I'm a full IB diploma candidate.
