Chances for A/E? Just wondering. Thanks!

hi i'm applying for 9th grade at Andover and Exeter. I got a 84% ssat, not nearly as well as i should have done but im sticking with it. I have played bball, lax, and football for 7 years and have been captains for all teams. I have decent grades with all as. I do community service such as coaching my younger bros football and lax teams, and helping out at the special olympics. I had my interviews, they both went amazing and the athletic coaches seemed to really like me as well and are writing recs. Speaking of recs, my teachers wrote great ones for me as well as a family friend whom absolutely amazed me and wrote an outstanding one. Im not trying to come off as arrogant, seeing as how so many people on this board have much more amazing credentials. Oh and im just wondering but if a school says, "I think you could be a great fit here next year" does that actually mean anything? sorry haha. Hopefully i can get some accurate advice on these schools. Thanks again guys!

how did you manage to see your recommendations? or is it just a hunch?
and can you specify decent grades?

as of right now, i think you've got a pretty good chance, but nothing's for certain.

You impress me as an outstanding candidate and the fact that the coaches have shown interest in you can only be interpreted as very favorable. In addition, whether or not you are applying for aid is irrelevant, since both of the schools in question are need-blind.

How do you help coach?
What type of league is your brother in?

I ask because my son (applying for 9th) "hangs out" as my husband coaches baseball. My son works with the kids "outside" the official field because he doesn't meet the leagues age requirements for coaching and only league approved non-players are permitted on the field. My son doesn't consider it an EC since he isn't legally allowed to coach. But if there is a league out there that he could be allowed to coach in & rather have Dad & lil bro move to that league. Lil bro is currently in Little League in Pennsylvania

sorry I'm not exactly a big fan of putting much information out on the internet but 3 a's and 2 a- I think mabye I could have gotten a b plus because I was out of school for a week from going to nationals for football but I hope that wont hurt me too badly. And actually I know a lot of adults in my town well and the coach of my brother's team happens to be my neighbor and he wanted me to assistant coach because I know a lot about the 2 sports and I'm pretty good with kids. (seeing as I have siblings) haha but its a very small league that started this year, just to get kids started playing at an early age for football. And for lacrosse, I help at the pre season clinics for kids and help coach teams. Again, mainly because I love helping out and would say I am pretty good at the sports haha. Anything I didnt cover? sorry lol

oh and actually I only saw one rec from a family friend who wrote it and I have known for a long time. I think the only reason he gave my mom a copy was because he wanted me to see it, but my teachers just sent them straight to the school.
