Ok, I think maybe Ivy league is out of my league but if people could give a rough estimate anyway, it'd be nice.

I'm not following the format other people have because I've just finished year 11 and have two more school years left (yes, I'm in the British Curriculum).

Thing is, I don't live in Britain, I live in the U.A.E. And things like academic competitions are by and far few here so I've never had the chance to participate in an academic competition.

I am also musically tone deaf. I tried playing piano when I was little and hated it.

I enjoy sports and participated in after school clubs but physically as well, I'm not the best. I've never made a school team. Although I have been training and think there's a good chance I could make hockey and cross country next year. Possibly soccer. I do do things like Tennis, horse riding and surfing in my own time though.

So, I'm predicted straight A* in my GCSEs and am well on the way to achieving that.

If you achieve A* in GCSEs you will most likely be predicted straight As for A level as well.

I will be taking SAT exams, no idea how well I'll do in them but I'm hoping quite well as I generally do well academically.

I am a school prefect.

I speak Arabic and English fluently. I was fast tracked for French in my school but dropped out because I did not want to take three languages (Arabic was compulsory for me). Thinking of taking up another language (Russian maybe?) next summer.

I was one of 12 out of 60 people who attended a teen summit in Seattle where other countries also participated.

I will be attending MUN next year and am going to an out of school conference to Beijing this summer.

I have a weeks work experience in a development fund and will be doing two more weeks next year as well as an internship next year.

I volunteer 4 hours at a hospital once a week.

I have a DOE bronze and gold award.

For the last couple of years I've won a couple of school awards for Islamic Studies and last year won the History award as well.

I took part in a 12 man production of Othello. Quite enjoyed it as well and think I'm going to get more involved in acting.

I will be taking part in an 'extended learning project' next year as well.

I intend to do some international charity work next year as well.

So nothing outstanding unfortunately but do you think I could make a good, reputable university? Taking into account that I have very good written skills and could write a good essay as well as good verbal and communication skills for the interview. Thing I'm worried about the most is my lack of musical skills and the lack of academic awards.
