Lower-level calculus (AB not BC) together with linear algebra+differential equations?

Your list has a good selection of match and safeties. Just don't dwell on H,Y,S,P,B,D. They will be reaches.

Siserune asks a good question about why AP Calc AB and not BC. Remember the words of H admissions booklet-- 'most challenging courses your school offers.'

I think both Cornell and Tufts are reaches.

We have over 43 kids get into Cornell. The chances of acceptance for people with above a 90 gpa and a 1400 (m+v) is about 65% which is more like a match than a reach.

How high are my reaches? IS there some chance or like I would need a miracle? I am going to try to average a 97 for this first term? WQould that signiifcantly change the scheme of things? I remember a Princeton admissions counselor saying senior year 1st term will be the most important for our school anyways because unlike in other schools we take most of our a.p's seniro not junio year.

I didn't get into A.P Calc BC. My math grades are as follows 99,99,92,75,93,95. That 75 from when my aunt had cancer screwed me over. Thats why. Plus I think it would be too much work since I have to write A 20 PAGE RESEARCH PAPER THAT WILL BE SUBMITTED TO NYcsef, intel and siemens and neuroscienced research contests.
