Colleges applying to- (In order of preference)

CUNY-Baruch College
Pace University (tied)
DePaul University (tied)
Bentley College
University of Pittsburgh
Northeastern University
University of Connecticut
University of Indiana
Suffolk University
American University
Bryant University
Georgia State University

Looks like you have a solid shot at all of them. Because you are from Georgia, you will most def get into Georgia State. Have you considered UGA?

UConn, Northeastern and Suffolk might be tough schools to get into because they are all large competitive new england schools. However, the community service, internships ans ap scholar credentials you have will probably give you a little bit of an edge. But make sure that your recs, essay and interview are all very strong to give more of an edge. For Northeastern though, really play on the hands-on experiences you have had to enhance you as a person, scholar, etc. if that is possible since the co-op program is the mission of their school. But overall, i think you have a good shot at all of your schools.

good luck.

Just based on my own semi-limited research and experience... I disagree, you should have a very good shot at Suffolk and Bryant, they're probably safetys... Bentley and Pace are probably good matches, and Northeastern and American could be reachy..

I haven't looked into any of the others personally, so I couldn't tell you. But it seems like you have a nice, well rounded list.. it looks like you're looking into business schools.. what are you hoping to major in?

Good luck!

Yea, I am planning on majoring in finance. But my main schools I really would like to go to are CUNY-Baruch College, Pace University (tied), and DePaul University (tied). I really want to be in the city. I know that CUNY- Baruch's average GPA is a 3.0 and average SAT is a 1104, and they have a 36% acceptance rate. And Pace University's average GPA is a 3.20 and average SAT is a 1081, and they have a 70% acceptance rate. And DePaul University's average GPA is a 3.40 and average SAT is a 1143, and they have a 70% acceptance rate. I thought these 3 schools were more of a safety for me. Does anyone agree with me???

Anyone at all???

Bump.........

CUNY-Baruch College (match)
Pace University (safety)
DePaul University (match)
Bentley College (match)
University of Pittsburgh (match)
Northeastern University (reach)
University of Connecticut (safety)
University of Indiana (not sure)
Suffolk University (safety)
American University (reach)
Bryant University (safety)
Georgia State University (safety)

I'm hoping/assuming that the 1230 is on the OLD SAT, not the new one. if true, then
CUNY-Baruch College (match)
Pace University (safety)
DePaul University (match)
Bentley College (match)
University of Pittsburgh (match)
Northeastern University (reach)
University of Connecticut (match/slight reach)
University of Indiana (not sure)
Suffolk University (safety)
American University (reach/match)
Bryant University (safety)
Georgia State University (safety)

I would place Northeastern, American, Bentley, and Pittsburgh as reaches.

Baruc, Depaul and Uconn as matches

The rest would be safeties.

Good luck!

Yea, the 1230 is on the old one. Thanks for all the comments. I looked at things kind of like this:

CUNY-Baruch College (safety)
Pace University (safety)
DePaul University (safety)
Bentley College (match)
University of Pittsburgh (match)
Northeastern University (reach/ match)
University of Connecticut (Match)
University of Indiana (Safety/ Match)
Suffolk University (safety)
American University (match)
Bryant University (safety)
Georgia State University (safety)

Bump..........

apply to some reaches. a 3.5 will get you other places too.

do NYU and Carnegie and stuff. Northwestern. reaches are always good.

Thanks. What do you think if I applied to Bentley College ED? Do you think I could get in??? Thanks.

Yes, you would have a better chance of getting into Bentley if you did ED. Make sure that you want to do business and that you like the school.

Yea, I am sure I want to do business. I visited Bentley, Babson, and Bryant. I loved Bentley and Bryant. So I will probably either do ED to Bentley or Bryant.

Bump..........

In that case do ED to Bentley because it is better than Bryant and will soon be at the same level as Babson.
