Chances for ED-(Junior)

<p>I am a male from Georgia, and planning on majoring in business.</p>

SAT: 1230</p>

• Habit 4 Humanity: member, officer (10-12)
• Class Council: Class representative (2), Secretary (10-12)
• Future Business Leaders of America: Member, Officer (10-12)
• National Honor Society: Member, officer (maybe) (11-12)
• National Spanish Society: Member (11-12)
• Students Against Drunk Driving: Member (9)
• Hockey: High school team, travel teams
• Tennis: Recreational play
• Racquetball: Recreational play
• INTERNSHIP, payed: full time from (10-12) with business company
• 150-200 hours community service with various organizations (10-12)
• Awards: Honor roll all 4 years, AP scholar(only 3 APs needed to get it), community service related</p>

<p>Decent shot, work on raising your SAT and do well junior year and you should be all right.</p>

<p>Try taking the ACT as well.</p>

<p>also, it isn't such a terrible idea to add some SAT IIs to your application file (especially if they are relevant to your applied major).</p>

<p>Your stats are fine, but if you could score higher on the ACT, I would take that. Just make sure you write about why you want to go to GW specifically and how you feel that it is a good fit for your goals and personality -- that's really important to the admissions office at GW.</p>

<p>i think your SAT score is somewhat low... but you can still bring that score up!</p>

<p>Another thing to remember is that they will be not only looking at how well you did in your classes, but also which classes you are taking. They want to see if you're challenging yourself by taking the more rigorous coursework (more AP/Honors/IB whatever your school offers). The fact that you're from Georgia will help, but never rely on that alone.</p>

<p>I think you need to bring your SAT up to at least 1300 and do something over the summer related to your interest in business.</p>
