Hey there!!
I am currently a freshmen at St. John's college. St. John's is a great books program and is very unique. Unfortunately its just not working out for me. I think Smith would be a really amazing opportunity for me and somewhere I would love to be. I am also looking to major in History and Government. My future career goal is to be a lawyer or political speechwriter.

And here are my stats
High School GPA: 3.8 9 (u/w) 4.7 (w)

HS class rank: 24/330

SAT: reading 710 math 510 writing 620 Really bad, I probably won't submit them unless it would help

APs: 6 AP classes scoring three 4's and three 5's

HS Extra-Curricular: very involved with Speech and Debate, captain of the LD, Expos, OO and PPI divisions. varsity letter. Qualified for the national tournament in LD and OO. 3rd place at state in Expos as well as many other wins on league level. Received degree of superior distinction from the National Forensics League

College GPA: unknown, I'm guessing anywhere from 3.3-3.9

College Extracurriculars:
-International Relations Study Group
- Tech and costumes for school musical

College Classes: I don't take normal classes but they will transfer as Ancient Greek grammar and prose, Euclidean Geometry, Astronomy, General Biology, Chemistry Foundations of Atomic Theory, History, Classical Literature and Philosophy.

The reason I don't know by GPA is because they wont disclose grades until the end of the semester and even then grade are completely subjective and entirely up to the discretion of the teacher since there is no objective work like papers and tests to grade us off of. I have a lot of problems with this system since I think as a student it takes away my ability to control my educational future and improve myself. This is part of the reason I am transferring.

So if you all could give me some guidance as to what my chances are for Smith and how to make myself a more competitive transfer candidate that would be amazing!!!
Thank you soo much!!
