I heard that its virtually impossible to transfer from one UC school to another because community college transfers take priority.

Is it true that it's pretty much impossible to do a UC to UC transfer?

It’s not wholly impossible but it is much more stressful than a CCC transfer. I’m transferring from UCSC to UCSB or (hopefully!) Berkeley for next fall. It’s true that as an inter-campus transfer you’re not considered top priority, but I think people make it seem harder than it really is. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

i wouldn’t find it more stressful, because u are already at a UC. Other UCs prob would not think you REALLY NEED to go to their schools, but at least you already have a school to go to. If you are already dead set on going to a diff school, then going the CC route is much cheaper route to go to. But it varies for each person what route is right.

@shibykin you already got accepted to UCLA as a transfer???

No lol I got there straight out of high school >< lol I applied to Berkeley for transfer so that’s y I’m on this forum but I’m not that stressed about this transfer process ><
