Chances for admission, and fin. aid

I would really appreciate chances for admissions, and also for financial aid (the reason is that I cannot go to college without financial aid - I'll explain why later on.)

First of all, my stats:
SAT: 800M, 740V, 710W (only took once, 11 on essay)
SAT II's (one sitting):
- Math II: 800
- Physics: 690
- World History: 780
GPA: 4.0 Unweighted, Rank: 1/168 (inner city school in dc)
EC's: Did a couple of clubs at my school, though they didn't offer much. I was pretty much working during most of my free time, though. Got a bunch of awards that I don't feel like listing right here, though.
First Generation College Student

Financial Aid situation:

I have been working throughout high school, and I am going to work throughout college. This money will be used to support my family, though, not to pay tuition. My mom makes an annual income of $8,000 or so, and I don't give a crap about my dad because he left her when she refused to abort me (he's in jail now.) I'm also a minority student, if that helps, but I doubt it. If anyone knows about fin. aid, then please respond here with some information on how much I can probably get. I am willing to take loans.

Schools:
Brown (would've applied ED, but I need to be sure of fin. aid... favorite school though)
University of Chicago
Georgetown
University of Maryland
George Washington

Don't sell yourself short. Any one of the schools you listed (and most other Ivies and selective colleges) would kill for a URM (Under Represented Minority) like you. Really. Number one in your class, 2250 SATs, 800 in Math II. First generation to college. Inner city Washington. My expectation is that you'll get into each one of the schools on your list and that each one will give you a needs based and/ or merit scholarship for full or nearly full tuition, and room and board.

I take it you did apply for financial aid when you applied. And you let the schools know on your application that you are a URM.

wow, your spectacular.
UM-super crazy safety
U-C crazy good chance
Brown- you should be in, (my best friend got accepted there, he had similar stats and was a slight urm.)
Gtown- Def should be accepted,
Your awesome, good luck!!

you should have applied to more schools. if you dont get into any of the first three you will end up at a school where your far too superior to be (on an academic level)

you shoulda applied HYP!!

like come on, if you don't get into brown, i don't know who will. And i really hope you do too! not many people here have had to go thru the same stuff that you have, good luck!

which UM campus? College Park is a little picky, but you'll probably get in. Eastern Shore - DO NOT go there. Or Baltimore?

I am sorry that I could not respond until now. I do not have a computer, and cannot use one at school (I can only use it when I visit my friend's house, like now.)

First of all, thank you to everyone who encouraged me; I appreciate your comments. Anyway,

amptron2x: Yes, I applied for financial aid. I also tried to get application fee waived, and they were mostly waived. I already have some scholarships I won, but I will need more. Hopefully, I can get it.

stonecold23: I am used to going to schools like that, and I have no problem with it. I do not necessarily want to be surrounded by smart students (in that I am indifferent) - I just want the chance to learn so I can come back here and help my community. However, there are particular reasons I have for wanting attend Brown. Still, I would have no problem attending Maryland; one positive aspect is that it would be cheaper to go there (transportation-wise) because it is closer to home.

wrxstiav: I'm sure Harvard is a good school, but since I do not really want to go there, I did not bother applying.

Jesminder: I applied to College Park, don't worry.

Once again, thank you to everyone who posted here.

I think you'll be in all with aid. Good job!
