What do you think? Any chance of money? Getting in?

I think you have a very solid chance for admission to Emory. Your GPA, SAT test scores and EC's are all excellent for admissions consideration.

Your chances for receiving a merit scholarship is a toss-up. Merit scholarships are offered through the Emory Scholars Program -- see my posts below in the thread titled "Emory Scholars". Merit scholarships are highly competitive, and it appears that you might be right on the cusp.

BTW, your weighted and unweighted GPA numbers seem odd -- if you've taken so many AP classes, why isn't your weighted GPA much higher?

Our school grades on a 100 point scale, and weights AP courses 5 points out of 100. Furthermore, on the 4.0 conversion we do not weight over the 4.0 mark, so with a 100 GPA and all AP courses (Theoretically a 105 GPA then), the student is still recognized as having a 4.0 GPA on the 4.0 scale. Essentially though the weight is meaningless, because schools reweight anyway.
