I have a 3.68 GPA (will likely end up with a 3.6 or so), 1300 SAT (1890 combined) and am around 40th of 405. I'm also in-state, and have an above average amount of extra cirriculars and take all Honors (and the 1 AP offered). What do you thin my chances are? I've seen the middle 50%s and all that, but from some of the things I've read, it is easier than those statistics show. Am I just paranoid?

Considering that you are in-state, you should have at least ~1800 SATs, which you do. Academically, I think that you'll be able to get accepted Penn State UP. How strong are your ECs?

Very good chances at PSU. Best of luck!

As far as ECs go, I have varsity baseball, class executive board, key club, youth group, whatever....but I'm fairly sure Penn State UP doesn't look at those too closely, if at all. Thanks for the help guys!

I am pretty sure you'll get in, but I would make sure to get the application in early just to be safe. Best of luck.
