<p>Ok, so applying to 16 schools next year. Currently a junior with these stats:
- 3.65 weighted GPA (school does not unweight, however that's probably a 3.45 unweighted)
- 1950 SAT (670 Math, 650 Writing, 630 CR)
- 31 ACT
- Junior year: AP Micro/Macro Economics (5/4)
- Senior year: AP Statistics, AP Psychology, AP English Literature, AP Physics B (2)
- 2 year varsity soccer player (All conference, captain, conference champions)
- President/founder of 1 club, vice president of 2 others
- Held a job 3 summers of high school as a customer service adviser
- Legacy at Franklin and Marshall, triple legacy at Yale (grandparents and mother), and uncle and second cousin both on board of admissions at Yale
- Stellar recommendations and essay along with 70+ hours of community service</p>

<p>Your ACT is much better than your SAT. Did you take it with writing? Your GPA is rather weak. You can pretty much forget about Yale unless you find cure to cancer this year. You are so far out of range. You better spend some time to look up the information about these schools before applying as it seems you have little idea about them. You may want to narrow down your list a bit. It is a lot of work (and money) to apply to so many schools. </p>
<p>I have to agree that, even as a legacy, Yale is too great a reach to even be worth the application fee, unless there are buildings named after your family members and they literally donate millions. The rest of your list looks quite realistic and well-balanced.</p>
<p>@woogzmama OP has family on the board of admissions… Unfortunately, the OP will probably get in without the right qualifications. Very unfair for those who work for it!</p>
