Chances for BB&N, Belmont Hill School, Boston Latin Academy

I am a 8th grader who wishes to get into the above schools for ninth grade, and I was just wondering about my chances for getting in.

I got 95% SSATS.

I have a 4.0 grade point average, but I go to public school in the Waltham area.

I am on the Math Team at my school, and did really well last go.

I can program in five or more (not sure whether html and css count) computer programming languages.

I am decent at sports, with a good mile time (5:52 one and a half years ago), a good soccer player, and a good hockey player.

I have participated in all of the plays at my school as a background technician.

Was on the cross country team at my school, as well as on the tennis team.

So, what do you think? Am I BHS, BB&N and BLA material?

@Uberdude,
You’re in at all of those schools. I know kids at all of those schools who aren’t as smart as you. I’d be surprised if you get rejected.

Sweet, someone else here is applying to Belmont Hill :D. Real good shot at all of them. I’m almost positively sure that your academic stats will put you in good standing for all of them. Belmont Hill (also the ISL in general) will push hard for hockey players so that’s another plus. You’re a 3-season athlete, involved in theatre, and know programming.

Check your PM’s please. Good luck!

I think you mean BU Acedemy vs Bostin Latin Acedemy. Boston latin Acedemy is a public school that requires you are City of Boston Resident. You appear well qualified for any of those schools.

Good luck !
