Chances for Boston University? (Low SAT Score/GPA)

Hello, I would like to know if I have a chance of being accepted into Boston University. I know it is a reach school, but I would like to know.

High School Senior
SAT Composite Score: 1870
Math: 610
Critical Reading: 570
Writing: 690
GPA(UW): 3.55
Other:
-3 Years in a sport
-Taking Calculus
-2 AP Classes and 3 Honors Classes all of High School
-50+ Hours in community service

NOTE: I know it is a reach school, but if I write a spectacular essay, will they consider me? I have been told by numerous people that I can write a spectacular essay.There is a reason (medical/health issue) why my scores are on the lower side. I might include it in my essay.

If you choose the CGS option you have a good chance of acceptance. Your SAT score is not that low for BU.

I think you have pretty good chances in CAS or CGS but the engineering is really competitive and difficult to get into.
