I think you have a fair shot. Like many before me have said, I think your stats and ECs are good, but I’m sure there will be plenty of other qualified (and perhaps overqualified) applicants as well. Work on your essay and see if you can schedule an interview (not sure if Brown has interviews). These could be the two biggest components of your essay that can really make you shine!

Honestly, no one’s stats can guarantee them a spot at any ivy… However, you definitely seem competitive. With good recs and an outstanding essay, you seem to stand as good a chance as anyone else.

I would put Brown at a low reach for you. No matter who you are it is hard to call brown anything but a high target. However, your SAT scores hurt you a little with Brown. Are u submitting to Intel, or did you submit to Siemens. If you are a semi-finalist in either of these competitions i would move it to a high target.

I think you can get in. If you re-take your SAT and get a higher math result it might be better but it’s not bad, and your EC’s are really good :)

Standardized test scores are a bit low for Brown, but other than that, the EC’s look good and show a lot of devotion, and if your recs are as stellar as you say they are, then you’ve got a decent shot.

I highly recommend trying to raise your test scores if still possible.
Good luck

You are definitely getting in, my white friend got in with less EC’s and a slightly lower SAT. He essay was freaking beast however. Colleges look at much more than SAT so ignore those haters.

i think you have a great shot at brown. your sat score looks good, and your ec’s are really good. i think it will just come down to your recs and essay

I think you’ll have a decent shot. Just remember, you don’t need every single maximum cridential for Brown, as long as you are near the top, you’ve got a shot. Best of luck

You are fine. You really need to retake Math II test and maybe the sat. See if you can find a recommendation that isn’t related to school. (ie a parent of the person u tutored or your supervisor at the hospital you volunteer for) I try to vary my recommendations so that it doesn’t look like I am leeching the school for my reconmendations

I think you have a good shot; you’re definitely competitive. Everything is in line with what Brown would want. If I were you, I would pour my heart and soul into my essays and make them the tipping point for admission. Good luck to you!

I think you have a decent shot at getting accepted! You’ve clearly demonstrated your interests in sciences, your sats/sat 2s are a little low, but I know students that got into Brown with far lower stats than you have. Your summer experience will be invaluable to you, because it demonstrates a lot of interest in the school. Your activities are interesting, just make sure to emphasize why they are important to you and why you want to attend Brown so badly! With these things in mind, I’d say Brown is a high match for you! Best of luck!

I think you have a decent shot If you can bump up your SAT, then that’s awesome, but I don’t think it’s necessary. I know I’d be happy to have that score (fingers crossed for the results in about a week). I think that you have a good courseload for your senior year too (I’m taking Lit, Econ and AB Calc too!).

I would say that Brown is a slight reach, but that you definitely have a shot at it. I’d say maybe a 20-25% chance?

I believe that your SAT is very strong and competitive. Although I do not have any experience with Brown admissions, I have heard that they are very holistic and standardized tests are not the only statistics looked at. This being said, you seem to be involved and a leader and you would be a fine addition to the Brown University community. Best of luck!
