Chances for BS/MD program Brown, Case Western, Pitt

I am really interested in getting into a selective college especially for a bs/md program. Brown is my top choice school followed by Northwestern, Case Western Reserve, and Pit… I have a 4.0 GPA fourth in my graduating class, am involved in tons of extra curricular including Science Olympiad, National Honor Society, Student Leadership Council, Quiz Bowl, Tennis, Student government, and FBLA. I am state vice president for FBLA, cocaptain of my Science Olympiad Team, and have placed in the top 10 at national FBLA competitions. Also, I job shadowed at a doctor’s office last summer and this past july I had an internship at a hospital in the U.K. for three weeks. My only problem I think is my test scores I have a 33 ACT E:31, M: 34, R: 33/34, S: 35; 34 if it is superscored, 720 SAT Chemistry, 770 SAT Math 2, 720 SAT US History. 5 on US History,European History, and English Language and Comp AP Tests, but 3 on Calculus and Chemistry. I know the essays are the big part of the application as well, but do you think these scores are acceptable? Thanks

Your GPA and ACT scores are great
ECs are also vast and credible

don’t worry about your scores and GPA, they’re great!
Yeah work on the college essays because they do reflect on who you really are. Show the institutions that they are the top choice on your list by explaining specific undergrad programs and research opportunities etc.

good luck!

Thanks so much! My parents and guidance counselor claim my ACT scores are too low for Brown and that I must take the SAT and score at least a 2300…Do you agree with this?
