Chances for BU and NYU

Academics:

*3.7 Unweighted GPA
*4.1 Weighted GPA
*190/1004 rank. My school is well recognized and extremely difficult as the majority of the kids tend to have 4.0 gpa's. Will that be taken into account while considering me?
*5 AP's so far--> AP Geography, AP US History, AP English Lang, AP French, AP Psychology. I have not received my scores for the last 4 but i am fairly certain that i will receive 4's or 5's on all of them (but maybe a 3 for french...)
*I will be taking 4 more AP classes next year (AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Lit, AP Calc AB)
*I kind of slacked off on my freshman year but have been recieving A's in all my classes since then....
*I will be taking a government and an economics class at a community college

Standardized tests:

*30 ACT Score (I will be redoing it and hopefully will get a 32)
*1810 SAT score...veryy low i knoww :(

For a large part of my life i have had to live in several countries and attend international schools, so, I have tons to write about in admissions essays :)
I know that my SAT score is a fail but is it a stretch to hope that they will substitute it with my ACT scores or should I redo the SAT's? Thank you guys sooooo much!

20 percent chance

it depends on what major you want to do

For business, it’d be 60% chance for BU and 5% for NYU.

For arts and sciences, chances at NYU go up to about 40%.

don’t listen to percentages as far as admission chances, it’s really difficult to say.
