chances for CFA ?

<p>hi ,</p>

<p>i heard CFA College of fine arts ( design department) put a significance on portfolio but
im concerned about my academic scores...
my gpa is 3.6 ( Unweighted) [6 APs total including senior year, 2 accerlated courses taken. ]
sat subject math/my language tests taken. </p>

<p>and i took act and it was about 23 (_ _..need to take it again in september/october..hopefulyy for abetter score)
and i also took toefl test since my english isn't my first language....
i think my portfolio is ready to go though ..since i started mine since 9th grade ...and i get great comments from many of my friends+teachers </p>

<p>and i did 4 years of orchestra (violin)
got Certificate of merit award for advanced placement (piano)
also i got alot of a art wards that i got when i was in 9th grade~11th grade. </p>

<p>volenteer ( not that many0 ...but did it for 2years) </p>

<p>what i'm most worried is about my act score...
bc i heard cmu look at well rounded student....</p>

<p>CMU is holistic like you said and especially so for CFA majors like drama and design. Your ACT seems very low but hopefully like you said your retake will be much better. Your portfolio should be good if you can't raise that test score but other than that you are still in the running for admission.</p>
