Great Letters of Rec, Essays, etc

Clemson looks at GPA, test scores, class rank and course rigor while admitting into your major. They want all legs to be strong. For example, there have been students with a very high test score but a lower GOP or class rank not be admitted. They don’t pay a lot of attention to EC’s and there are no essays and no letters of recommendation on the initial application. You can go to the website and see how your stats measure up to their standards. Also, call the college of the major you are looking at and find out how competitive that specific major is.

You will need to bring your ACT and GPA up before they will even consider. It is all test scores and GPA for Clemson

You should register today for another ACT test. And then also today, come home and start practicing. Take a section test every other day at least–it takes just an hour. Cut back on some of your volunteer activities (they sound great by the way and you sound like an awesome kid) so you can take the needed time to improve your score.

Also–your parents are fine with the OOS tuition and price at Clemson? If admitted, it will cost close to 45K per year for you.
