i don't think you will be rejected
at least you will be on waitlist or deferred

your ec is good!!
i think the admission depends on your leadership and potential, and also essay, which is very important =) good luck

Sweet! Thanks!

What do you think I can do to bring out those leadership qualities in the application? My leadership experience is essentially all through debate - granted, it is a fairly high burden of leadership since we are a nationally recognized team.

Also, I forgot to mention that I've attended Summer Debate institutes at UCLA or in Texas each summer of high school, and also worked as a Counselor in Training at a summer camp that emphasizes leadership (yay!).

ALSO: I'm not taking a science course my senior year. I don't think this will be very damaging though, since Columbia mentions that it can sometimes be positive to sacrifice classes in some areas in order to take more classes related to what you're passionate about.

Yeah you're scaring me!! Columbia would be my Dream school as well
& i really do think you would be able to get in....jst work on that essay....

Thanks!

And Hah... why'd I scare you?

ALSO, UPDATE: I got my class rank today. I am number 38 out of 568, which is within the top 7% (if that means anything).

Any more thoughts?
