Chances for Cooper Union? I will CHANCE BACK

It’s quite a reach for you. Really try to get those test scores up!

Bump! Tenchars0000000000

It’s a very high reach for you, but like what ienivs said, the new tuition policy could benefit you significantly.

Still a below 2000 SAT1 and below 30 ACT is unacceptable for any top schools. You should be getting at least 2200 or 33 to be safe. I have a 34 and my counselor wasn’t very optimistic about my chances.

Chance back here:

Unfortunately, nobody gets in to the Cooper Union.

But seriously, the acceptance rate is so crazy low that even with perfect scores, it’s a complete toss up. I agree with everyone else though. Raise your stats, show interest in engineering, etc.

Reach. Try to raise your ACT and you should have a chance!

How’s PLTW at your school? At my school, it’s a joke. I took IED as a freshmen and POE as a sophomore. I’ll be taking CEA as a junior next year. I aced the IED and POE finals. Got a 9/9 on the POE final despite the fact that my teacher basically taught us nothing the entire year. The cheat sheet we were allowed to use was very, very helpful.
