thanks! :)

Cooper is probably the most competitive school in New York area. LOL
^ Agree with the above.

CR and writing could be a bit higher (at least 600 looks better than 570, isn’t it?)
The subject test could be a bit higher. But I think it’s okay not to retake all of them. SAT for sure.
The fact that you have 760 on the SAT, then focus on your CR and Writing. In other words, when you go to the next SAT exam, don’t do the math part. Leave it blank. Just focus on your CR. 760 is good enough. Put your full potential on the other two parts, and get at least 650 each. This way you increase your chance of getting higher scores. You don’t want to get tired for doing 10 sections !!

Your AP chem is good. 5!

I am sure other stuff can make up the cons. Write good essays and have good recommendations. Strong one.
SAT reading isn’t really testing reading skill as far as I feel. So other good sides of yours will indicate that you are a hardworking student :)

This seems to be a very big reach for you. Cooper Union is an extremely selective schools and your scores don’t seem up to par. Sorry if its harsh.

There’s a major barrier preventing you from having a good chance: your SAT CR score. You’ll need at least a 650 if you want a serious shot at admission, and your score is currently below the 25% mark for acceptees.

Other than that, everything looks fine. You’ll need stellar essays and glowing recommendations.

Even with all that said (assuming you get a 650+ in CR and have great essays/recs), CU is still a reach for you. You can hope, but don’t become too attached to the school because the odds are against you and the majority of other applicants.
