Schools:
-Cornell (CAS)
-JHU
-Duke (Trinity)
-Emory
-Rice

Thanks a lot for your feedback guys :)

I’m not sure if this helps much, but from the research I’ve done, I think you’d be a great candidate for Duke.

Duke: Low reach - reach
JHU: Low reach - reach
Cornell: Low reach
Emory: Low reach - high match
Rice: Low reach - high match

SAT/ACT/EC’s are good, not great. ‘Project Downtown’ sounds interesting. 500 hours to me is just plain impressive that you managed to grind that many out.
Dunno how your AP’s went, I see only a 5 in Spanish SL…

Although your test scores aren’t outstanding, just about everything else is. You are clearly an excellent math student, so any schools for which you’ve identified your major should factor that in if they happen to take notice of the relevance.

It’s nice to see a fellow IB applicant to Cornell. =]

If you have time, please chance me as well.

I think you have fantastic chances at all of those schools, and I suspect you’ll be accepted to Emory and Rice. As for the others, you stand as good of chance as any other top applicant!

Good luck :)

I would say low reach for all of them, but I bet you’ll get into at least one of them

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1048620-rejected.html#post1066060075

you should be fine with emory, and probably rice & duke.
i am also applying to cornell, an ACT superscore of 33 i think translates to around a 2230. your sat scores are similar to mine, i hav a 2140.
i am also applying cornell CAS (as well COE). can you chance mine bacK?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1057613-chance-me-please-ill-chance-back-100-a.html

I would say high match for all but JHU and Duke, where you are a low reach. You should probably get into one or more of these schools, but I’d suggest potentially applying to a respectable safety where you’d be a lock to get in, but as I said, you should get into one of these. Chance back @ http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1055573-i-know-its-early-but-chances-junior.html

Thanks guys!

I would say
Cornell is a reach,
Duke and Emory are low reaches,
Rice is also a read
JHU is a low reach

Chance Back…Thanks

Bump 10charac

Given your extensive community service and the amount of accolades you’ve received, JHU, Rice, and Emory would be target-schools. Duke should be considered a low reach/ high target.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1060375-what-my-chances.html

Agreed with what everyone said. You will most likely get into at least one those schools, probably more.

chance me back!
