Chances for Cornell,Vanderbilt and Amherst

Hello everyone,

I am an international student studying BBA(hons) and looking to transfer to US. My current CGPA is 3.85(The HIGHEST in my batch) and Im looking to transfer to perhaps Cornell, Vanderbilt and Amherst.

I have never given SAT's but since Ive completed almost 60 credit hours worth of 20 courses with A's in 18 of them, but none of these colleges require SAT for transfer anyway. Ive confirmed them about this.

Also I graduated from High School way back in 2008 with just 'ok' grades and started college in 2011 and even took summer semesters. The reason there is a gap is because of 'HUGE' financial problem my family went through so I had to work my socks off with parents to pay for almost everything.

I know I'm not some Ivy league material but I do believe that I can convince admission staff through personal statements, essay and college recommendations plus I have a lot of working experiences and great Extra curriculars.

What do you think about my chances considering my current CGPA is HIGHEST in my class?

Thank you all :)

Btw since there is state tests and institutions very own testing regarding admissions here in my country, I got in my university because I did great in entry tests. My university’s ‘Business School’ is ranked among the top 5 best business school by State Education authority.

Come on :\ anything people ?
