Chances for CS/honors at Seattle?

<p>Hi! I've always loved Seattle and I'm a huge fan of UW. What are my chances to get into computer science and/or the honors program?</p>

<p>OOS from illinois(Chicago area), white male</p>

<p>32 ACT
3.97 unweighted, 4.64 weighted GPA
8 AP courses by graduation
ECs: Eagle Scout, scholastic bowl(secretary), honors choir, national honor society, IMEA All-state musician for choir and district musician 3 times, lead role in 2 musical productions and supporting role in another (these are what I put on my application)
Essays are good, but not truly exceptional- the honors essays were insightful though
Taken a programming class at community college, and have had programming experience</p>

<p>I think you have a good shot at honors; the CS program is pretty tough to get into, though (especially as a direct admit). I mean, your stats are good, but there is a ton of demand for CS right now. It’s really kind of a crapshoot.</p>
