So here's what's up. I just turned in Part 1 of my application for Georgetown, and realized that I probably should find other schools to apply to. Georgetown is my dream school, but I know that getting into good schools can sometimes be a crapshoot. So right now my list of schools to apply to are Georgetown and Pomona.

To begin.. My stats:
I'm a Female Rising Senior
Ranked 1 in a class of 670
4.0 GPA Unweighted, they don't weight our GPAs.
202 PSAT
34 ACT (32 E, 33 M, 35 R, 35 S)
SAT II's: 750 Math II, 710 US History, 670 Chemistry

APs:
Macro (4) Euro (5) [Chemistry, Calc AB, US Gov, as a Junior] [Art History, Lit, Comp, Stats for Senior Year, and I'll probably self study Micro]
I took our school's equivalent of APUSH, which was a United States History Class through the University of Minnesota; I am taking 8 credits worth of Spanish through the same program next year as well.
I've also self-studied Russian for three years, to a level of proficiency, and have recently started to tackle Arabic.

ECs:
Rotary Interact: 9-12
NHS: 12
Debate: 9-12
I've qualified at the State tournament every year that I've been on the team, and was named captain as a junior.
Speech: 9-12
I've qualified at Sections every year, and this past year went to State where I placed in the top half for extemp. speaking. Captain as a Junior.
Mock Trial: 9-12
I have been competing on the team each year, and was a captain as a junior. Our team placed 2nd in state when I was a freshman and sophomore, and last year placed 5th in state. I am most proud of last year's mock trial team, which I worked very hard to bring back to the top after 3/4 of our team graduated.
Assistant Editor of Yearbook: 11
Student Representative to the Schoolboard: 12
Mentoring Program: 12
A group of students from Student Council and NHS are working to create a cross-mentoring program between students in my high school.
Foreign Policy Club: 11/12
I founded a foreign policy club with my history teacher.

Volunteer Work:
50 hours, Freshman year
50 hours, Sophomore year
100 hours, Junior Year

I feel like my chances at Georgetown are pretty good.. I am applying to SFS, so I hope that my knowledge of Spanish and Russian will help me out. I know what I want to study, and I do everything with passion; I want to go to Georgetown for International Economics; is there anything left that I could do to secure that?
