Chances!

Hi there. I know for sure I'm applying to SFS early, but I'm not sure whether to start doing other applications before December-ish. If I have good chances of getting in at SFS.. I probably will fill out the common app, but save supplement essays for way later. So, what do you guys think?
I'm a white, female senior.

I took our school's equivalent of APUSH, which was a United States History Class through the University of Minnesota; I am taking 8 credits worth of Spanish through the same program next year as well.
I've also self-studied Russian for three years, to a level of proficiency, and have recently started to tackle Arabic.

I've qualified at Sections every year, and this past year went to State where I placed in the top half for extemp. speaking. I've been captain for two years.
Mock Trial: 9-12
I have been competing on the team each year, and was a captain as a junior. Our team placed 2nd in state when I was a freshman and sophomore, and last year placed 5th in state. I am most proud of last year's mock trial team, which I worked very hard to bring back to the top after 3/4 of our team graduated.

My letters of rec are AMAZING. My college advisor, also my Lit teacher, wrote me a wonderful letter that talks a lot about my leadership and my role in the school community. My history teacher wrote me a letter as well; he talked about how I come after school a lot just to talk about international affairs and economics. It was really amazing to read them.
My essays are good as well; I've put a lot of time in them. Within the next couple weeks they should be finalized.

Thank you so much!

I would work on the other applications, rather than risk rushing them if you don’t get in early. Your class standing is obviously impressive, but your PSAT, AP, History and Chem scores suggest that your competition is not as rigorous as that of other students applying who are ranked in the top 10% of their classes and have 3.8 GPAs, but much stronger test scores. I think that you are a strong candidate, and clearly worthy of admission, but you must keep in mind that Georgetown and comparably competitive schools cannot begin to admit all of the qualified applicants, as a result of which lots of applicants with credentials comparable to yours must be rejected. You appear to be a great student, and I have absolutely no doubt that you will be admitted to one or more great colleges, but Georgetown may or may not be one of them. You have a good shot, but don’t bet the farm on your chances.
Good luck!
