Hi there, I'm currently a Sophomore at Carmel High School in Carmel Indiana and I was wondering about my chances to get into top pre-med schools such as Duke, Johns Hopkins or Harvard.

I think my main problem is my low GPA and schedule (it could be better...I'm taking orchestra). Because our school doesn't weight grades, I have a 3.5 cumulative GPA which is below the 25% percent in our school.

My current schedule is

Hon. Precalc-Trig
Hon. English
Hon. Chemistry
French III
Orchestra
European History AP
Computer Science AP
SRT (Student Resource Time - we're all required to take it)

and for next year, I'm choosing

Hon. Block (basically U.S. History AP and Eng. Lit/Comp AP tied together - this class prepares for both AP exams and is supposed to be more 'pretigious' than taking AP/AP)
Hon. Physics
Calculus BC AP
French IV
Orchestra
Chemistry AP

And I wanted to take Macroeconomics AP / Government AP during the summer so I could have a senior schedule of

Multivariable Calculus (basically third semester calculus in university)
English Literature AP
Biology AP
French V
Orchestra
Human Anatomy/Physiology
Organic Chemistry

I'm going to be optimistic and say I'll end up with a 3.75 cum. GPA by the end of my Junior year.

My main extracurricular is playing the piano. I've placed (and won most of) all of the local competitions I've been to, and performed at Carnegie Hall (yes, the one in New York City) twice for placing in the World Piano Competition of Cincinnatti (AMSA). I'm pretty sure that helps, but I'm not sure to what extent.

I'm looking at 2200-2350 range for SATs. I'm being realistic here. No way in hell I'm getting a 2400.

Anyway, I was just wondering what chances I had at joining these colleges and if not, some alternate "decent" pre-med programs that I have a shot at getting into.

Thank you for reading all of that, and thanks in advance for information!
