My essays and personal statement are very well written, I wrote about my experience climbing mountains in Switzerland while suffering from elevation sickness, my time at boys state, and the top 5 reasons I want to be a hokie.
My brother goes to VT so I am a legacy
I have always shown interest by doing an info session and tour, emailing back and forth with admissions representatives and calling the admissions office
Upward trend in GPA every year

bump

GPA on the lower side for VT and you are coming from a competitive area. So, yes, a chance but it is not a guarantee so have back ups just in case. Best of luck, fingers crossed for you
