So my high school cumulative GPA (unweighted) is 3.0

I have a 1530 SAT Score (800 math, 730 critical reading)

I know my GPA is a little bit off, but I think I have the required SAT scores

I have loads of extra curricular activities such as captain of mock trial team, captain of model UN, varsity swimming & volleyball freshmen and sophomore year only (not sure if that helps at all)

Thoughts are appreciated. I'm applying Early Action and really hope I get in!!

I’m sorry, but with a GPA that low, I really don’t see how you would even be considered. Normally, Georgetown accepts students with an average GPA of 3.89 or something…

I think your application will make the adcom ask why a kid with 1530/1600 on the SAT has only a 3.0 GPA (which, by the way, is not “a little bit off”; for GU, it is way off).
How will you explain that?
If they come to the conclusion that you are an underachiever, I think the odds will be against you.
