<p>I just wanted to hear some opinions if I can get into SFS?</p>
<p>Currently a junior
4.0 UW GPA (my school doesn't do weighted gpa or ranks)
--this year i've taken: accelerated physics, ap bio, ap eng lit, french, medical skills terminology and emergency response, honors precalculus,
--next year: i'm taking us government (at a community college over the summer), ap psych, ap chem, ap calc bc, world religions, french, other classes i can't remember</p>
<p><em>i've taken the ap bio and ap lit exams this year</em>
i got a 30 on my ACT (32 math, 32 reading)</p>
<p>extracurriculars:
founder of youth group, secretary (9/10)
mun member (9)
mun secretary (10)
mun sec-gen (11/12--i've been re-elected :)
humanitarian club
student government
volunteer at a nearby hospital starting this year
math club
michigan math league
muslim student association
will join the french club
national honor society (10/11)
NHS treasurer (will be for 12th grade)</p>
<p>awards: i've gotten 8 awards in 9/10 grade for high grades...don't know about 11 grade because the ceremony isn't until june</p>
<p>i'm egyptian and i really want to do something international relations related because i feel the middle east policy is messed up and it can be fixed...also, i want people to know that arabs are not all terrorists and violent, and to please my parents who left egypt and came here (and my dad had re-do his medical residency) and who've done nothing but inspire me and have never forced me to take certain classes and have always been there for me.</p>
<p>what about these other colleges: University of Michigan, Brown, Cornell, University of Chicago?</p>
