<p>A little about me—</p>

<p>Objective info: 3.88 UW, 4.75 W, ranked 1/350 in my school
SAT: 1220/1880
SAT II’s: 700 WH, 710 Math 1C…
AP’s: World H (5) English Lang (4)</p>

<p>Subjective:</p>

<p>income around 50 k but my mom just lost her job so…</p>

<p>i came to this country at the end of 8th grade from afganistan. i am a persian immigrant/minority student. does this help in college admissions?</p>

<p>I also wrote my questbridge essays about my difficulties n afghanistan and why my parents and I had to move here (pretty much the typical immigrant’s story) I also wrote about my difficulties in learning english and overcoming cultural barriers. i hope that doesnt sound too cliche or whatever.</p>

<p>I participate in like every club/activity in school from Multicultural club to Service club. I was VP of MC club last yr, but i dont really have any leadership positions for this yr. My main EC is quizbowl and speech. 2 yrs ago, i was ranked 1 in districts and the region for speech category. Other than that, most of my awards are school based (Chemistry Student of the Yr, Spanish Student, etc…)</p>

<p>Majors/minors: premed, linguistics, dance</p>

<p>In my opinion you are in at all...with scholarships! You have good scores...you are Valedictorian and you have an AMAZING story to tell!

<p>Wow... we have very similar backgrounds and future aspirations. Only different thing is that I applied to the bigger schools. But I think you have a much better chance than me... interesting...</p>
