<p>Hey! I'm applying to hotchkiss Deerfield sps an loomis w/o financial aid. I got to a prestigious private school that was named one of the top ten day schools in the country according to Forbes, an one of the top 100 of all types in the country according to the wall street journal. </p>

<p>I play piano and have played for 8 years. I take private lessons.</p>

<p>I've played field hockey for 2 years an am the captain of my team, I do jv swim for 2 years, and I've played softball for 7 years was an all star win the team tournemebt and hope to be captain.</p>

<p>In seventh grade I got in the top tenth percentile on the math Olympiad and got all A range grades except for one B+ in history. Thu year I've gotten a few more b's in Latin and math but not history :( but I got an A+ in science. This year I'm in an accelerated math class.</p>

<p>I have a passion for science and have tried to show it in my interviews. I made the interviewers laugh a bit. And I've been told I'm quite a personality, so I think that's a good thing because I'm not some anti social genius (they can only take so many of those I think....)</p>

<p>I do community service with my church about once a month. Yeaaaah, only okay... But I also do acolyting at church.</p>

<p>I also started a club at my school and was the co pres. This was really hard and I had to be so organized to get to run it.</p>

<p>Are you applying all to GLADCHEMMS? I see you have noted that you are applying to Deerfield, Hotchkiss, Loomis, and SPS without FA, so that should (theoretically) improve your chances. I say that you’ve got a more than decent shot at Loomis. Milton probably liked that you like science (their new science building). For more of the “mathy” schools like Exeter, they probably will be slightly dissappointed with a B in math.</p>

<p>Be sure to mention community service, even if you did it 6 months ago. Your EC’s seem very good, and good luck to ya!</p>
