Hello everybody. I am applying to many high level schools and I was wondering what my chances were. Here are my stats.

Ethnicity: Mexican Male from public school in California.

SAT I
Math: 460
Verbal: 400
Total: 860

SAT II
Math: 510
History: 440
Biology: 520

GPA: 2.19

Extra-curriculars:
Latino Club (All four years)
Spanish Club (All four years)
Recycling Club (Two Years)

Good essays and good recommendations.

I know my gpa and sat are low, but I think my extra-curriculars and essays should make up for it. What are my chances for Harvard, UPenn, and MIT (mainly).

Based on your fabulous accomplishments, here is my guess:

Harvard: 95-98% chance
Princeton: 98%
MIT: I am pretty sure it should be 98-99% (Good shot, buddy!)
UPenn: Easy, 99.5%

Oh.
Forgot to mention, the percentages above are the rejection percentages.

Good luck bud!

and yet again...affirmative action ceases to amaze me lol, ay my good mexican friend, if you are serious about actually getting into a decent university, i highly suggest you retake your sat i & sat ii's, and maybe a course would help someone like you for sat i to increase your score to atleast 1200...and for sat iis, prep books are helpful (ie barrons, etc)...i kno this is a total waste of my time and most likely this is a some joke, but hey gotta help out the other minorities in this country whenever i get a chance lol =)

ps..theres no way in hell you are getting into either of the schools you listed, remember there are over 1000 colleges so rethink your plan my friend
