Are any schools outside of UCs and CMU matches?

anyone? :(

one more time...matches? :/

I think you will be accepted at one or both of the Chicago schools. Of the most competitive, I would guess (and this is just a guess) Amherst and Brown with good essays and rec's. This is a horrible time of year to wait through - just try to stay focused. I would also guess that you will collect a few waitlists. Waitlists generally are polite rejections - but sometimes they come through - in which case your final grades may come into play.

you got rejected from wharton WITH those ec's...I know wharton is probably the hardest school to get into in the country...but UPENN puts ec's before GPA...did you finish eagle scout? what did you write about in your essay's? If your essays were absolutley outstanding and you had finished eagle scout, you would have had a solid shot at UPENN. [not saying that you didn't write good essays]

you'll get into all the UC's though.

the ivies share information. i went to a seminar and they said that

it was columbia, brown, and cornell

"Most likely to change the world" will help at some places, especially Harvard. They love it when students are respected by their peers.

yeah there was a debate on here awhile ago about whether or not you should put superlatives on your application. Given that I find it meaningful and my awards list is somewhat pathetic, I figured it'd be worth a shot.
